Hundreds of Derbyshire Dales residents have signed our petition against the proposals for a huge solar farm just outside Brailsford.
The site would be 373-acres and around five times the size of the village itself.
Cllr Geoff Bond, who represents Brailsford on Derbyshire Dales District Council, has been out and about in the village speaking to residents and encouraging them to sign our petition. Whilst the planning decision lies with the Liberal Democrat-led District Council, Cllr Steve Bull, who represents the village at the County Council, has also urged the community to get involved in the campaign.
