The application for an enormous solar farm in Brailsford has recently been formally lodged. Residents in the immediate nearby area should be receiving a letter from the District Council.

There are many reasons residents can focus on in their comments and we would encourage everyobody who can comment, to do so. One huge factor is the substantial change in the landscape and countryside that this development would incur. The negative agricultural impact is another reason motivating residents, given the fact that this land is currently used as farmland.
Your local District Councillor Geoff Bond (Brailsford) and local County Councillor Steve Bull (Ashbourne South) continue to stand alongside residents in opposing this.
